Well, it's been a while, but this thread finally gets an update! I'm happy to say that my G36C has finally matured into adulthood! I now present to you my G36:

As you can see, the G36C Stock, Hand Guard, and Carry Handle have all been replaced by their respective G36 items, all of which are G&P made. I know I said previously that I was gonna set it up in K-configuration, but I decided on a full-length configuration after deciding that the "K" wasn't much of an improvement over the "C". The entire Barrel assembly has been replaced with a very sexy Army Code G36 steel Barrel Assembly, and, lacking a proper G36 Receiver at this time, my quick fix was to fill in the "C" with MMD White Putty and paint it over with Tamya Flat Black. It doesn't look spectacular, but it'll work until I get my hands on an actual Army Code G36 Receiver.

As for the inside, I'm sporting an MS120 Non-Linear Spring, Aero Cylinder Head, EG Spring Guide, 469mm 6.03 Tightbore, Stainless Hard Cylinder, Sintered Alloy Bushings, Piston and POM Piston Head, all Prometheus. Systema shims, and a Prowin Hop-up Chamber round out the internals, and a 9.6V 1500mah battery powers the contraption, which necessitated some modification of the Hand Guard, the Receiver, and the Barrel Assembly to fit properly, but no external damage is visible. I haven't gotten a chance to actually game it, but I fired ten .2g BBs, and she seems to be shooting properly at the very least!

I know that it's not really unique, as a CA or Star G36 looks identical, and that the G36C on the previous page was more personalized, but damn...I can't help but smile when I hold her. Anyway, let me know what you think!

Oh, and as an FYI, I'm planning on putting all of the original items from the "C" up for sale, including the infamous Barrel assembly, so if you need G36C parts, keep an eye out!

Works well. Everyone complains about the eye-relief, and it takes a little getting used to, but it's similar to the sight on my C7, so I guess I'm a little more used to it. Only real complaint is that if you are too far from it, the reticule turns a yellowy colour and is really hard to see. Sights on top for "emergency" or close-range aiming are decent, it's sturdy...I like it.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but I'll do my best...

So here's the battery...

...and here's how it fits in the Hand Guard.

Hope that's what you wanted to see.

I thought so. I recently replaced my G&P hand guard with a CA one, and I like the finish much more; there's no texture on G&P hand guard, and it felt kinda flimsy in comparison. Still, I think I liked the feel of the original TM pieces the best.
