Still trying to figure out how you broke so many peices removing a flash hinder.
anyhow the jb weld is awesome for $10 at CanT, but hard to sand or file down once it has dried. So if it is a peice that will show on the exterior of the gun (does not look like you did from the pics), I suggest don't glob it on the peices. Just enough to hold them together, then add more to reinforce once the first glueing has dried.

Just a lot of carelessness, I used a rubber cloth and a vicegrip and tried to unscrew the flash hider, but I didn't realize the plastic/metal pieces connecting the threaded metal part was so weak and it snapped.
Quite a shock to hear such a crack. Oh well, getting the some quick and normal JB weld tomorrow and pray it works, will update tomorrow :P |

You don't have to use a vice, lol a bit overkill, I use a screw driver or a tube or whatever and fit it between the gaps of the flash hider then turn, that way I have some idea of what torque I'm applying.

I find the best way to remove a tip that you plan on painting is to paint on some nail polish remover, let it sit and then remove.

btw those with a loose raider foregrip. I used a layer of Jb weld on the flat part on the top of the foregrip (to fill in the gap which causes it to be loose when on the bottom rail) then filed it a bit to fit tight onto the rail. Foregrip is rock solid now and still removable.
