I just might get the ESS Profile Turbofan goggle's. It says on the spec sheet that they exceed the military's .22 ballistic test. If they will deflect a .22 cal. bullet, they should be more then whats needed to protect your eye's while playin airsoft.

How do they fit good when wearing a Mich TC-2000 helmet?.

ASTM F 1776-01, ANSI 87.1 2003 (civilian), or MIL-V-43511C (military)

Would a pair of goggles with those rating be sufficent for use at a paintball field?

Let me rephrase the question to avoid a flamming.

Would a paintball field permit the use of a pair of goggles with those ratings?

I just want to purchase one set of eye protection to be used for airsoft.

Just get yourself a set of decent paintball goggles.

They'll be universally accepted at all indoor and outdoor fields.

I've owned a few pairs of JT (Spectra's) in my paintball days.

I just wish where my last pair went, looks like its back to Badlands Paintball for another pair.

Hey, has anyone ever used the Uvex Tac-1 Tactical Goggles, Rothco I believe? I need another pair of goggles, and I saw these. I know everyone loves these Bollie goggles, so I might check them out as well. But yeah, are these Uvex Tac-1 Tactical Goggles any good? Comfortable? Strong enough? Do the anti-fog lenses actually work?

I use Wileys Nerve goggles. Very low profile, not like the big ass ESS. Even the Profile NVGs (which I do own a pair) are monstrous compared to Wiley Xs.

They fog just like any other goggle after you use anti fog, I had no problems in 28 celsius weather, then again in 15 weather, performance was the same.

If you don't mind using a good anti fog coating when you go out, and you want something super low profile Wiley X Nerve goggles are the brand for you. They fit semi small, I've seen people complain cause they fit their heads. But I have no discomfort issues.

I liked my profile NVGs until my buddy stolezeord them and took them on exercise. Been fogging ever since.

I'm going to give their dual-pane thermal lenses a shot next.

I just got those Uvex Tac-1 Tactical Goggles this morning. No matter what I do, no matter how hard I try, I CANNOT get them to fog up. They have an anti-fog lens, and usually that means jack shit, but in this case, it works really well.

I love my Ess NVG Goggles! They are so freakin nice! They do fog up a little bit when I am not wearing a helmet but when I am wearing my MICH they work without a flaw! I wear them with the tinted shades and I love wearing them.
