You can't really game with just a GBB. If you're sincerely interested in the sport, you'd pick up an AEG of some sort.

Not saying that he's going to mis-use it, just throwing the idea out into the open.

I don't think that is True at all, In fact many of the people who got their start into airsoft at TTAC3 in Toronto... (I stopped counting after 100 new first timers ) started out with a pistol and 2 mags... which is all you need to play indoors... many caught the bug with no more initial investment than a paintball mask, a pistol and 2 mags... total cost less than $400 .. and a lot of those have gone on to buy a lot of guns and gear after they knew that they enjoyed the activity and could justfy the expense..

The bar does not have to be all that high to get started.. Although I agree that it is not really practical to play outdoors with a pistol...

yeah, i spent a year with simply a pistol and my paintball mask at TTAC3. nothing more fancy than a hoody for "gear". I didn't have the money to get an AEG, and all the other crap needed to keep it running, as well as to be able to play outdoors. i still feel much more comfortable and fluent with a pistol than I do with any sort of long gun.

Common guys enough with the crap talk.

What someone choses to play/do/buy is not up to you to decide if it's right or wrong and he shouldn't play because blablablablabla.

You can certainly chose to help him decide, by posting suggestions and all of that, but going on a witch hunt only shows one thing. That you are unfriendly

Some people need to be a bit more friendly... it's a team sport/hobby, no reason to go hunt down someone because all he has is a pistol (thats just one example).

Not everyone has $1000-$2000 to spend to start airsoft.

Anyone with a Desert Eagle should be satisfyed. You just feel so badass when you've got a pistol that is comparative in size to some of the AEG's out there...

I started off with a TM Desert Eagle. The only reason I didn't feel badass was because it was...EBB....:shame:

No, thats not me (a guy from Britian). I'm not that badass...yet. I'm waiting on my first AEG (hence why I was wondering about my order being in Ken's next shipment). However, thanks to the miracle of the gear section being for every one (not just age verified people), I'll be bad ass in no time.

Yeah. I've entrusted $120 to him before, and most recently $860 (ouch).
