correct me if Im wrong, but wont high viscosity slide lube just gum up the mechanism in the long run as it is more likely to collect dust, dirt, snot, etc?

Not super high viscosity. High enough to stay on and be effective, but low enough to avoid giving you a headache. Plus, any lubed surface will collect gunk, and whatnot. Take a look at your GBB after some shooting, and you'll notice the little white shavings stuck in your lube.

If you service your pistols regularly , it shouldn't be a problem.

No. Water and Qtips works just aswell. If you have any gunk that isn't coming off, use warm water.

Avoid rubbing alcohol, as it may ruin the finish on yer abs parts.

The areas you want to check , and possibly re-lube are:
Magwell
Slide rails
blow-back mechanism

I don't think you'll have trouble elsewhere.

have you been to the c.i.a. website? if not register/sign up and them pm c.i.a. rick to see what their age restrictions are like. i have had dealings with c.i.a. before and found their admins to be approachable about such things.

You're right Pip. I've got nothing against yourself, or the newer folks. Only a few people are idiots, but they're the ones in charge.
