I can fog up my goggles just standing still and I have found Seadrops to be the best anti fog solution. You can pick it up at any good scuba shop for around 6 bucks.

Hmmm Dave, something just seems amiss to me here.

I bought my first AEG a couple of years ago now-a 'TM' H&K SG1 -mostly coz i liked the look of it. Its a beast of a weapon but too big to lug about stealthly on the battlefield. The SD5 on the other hand is a decent compromise-a hell of a lot easier to carry around, plus the extra barrel length over the standard MP5 gives you a better idea of where you're aiming at in low light conditions.
Anyhow, having tested one the other day in a skirmish- i am now a convert to the M16 family. The carry handle makes for easy handling, but for me the fore-end handle swings it, for ease of aiming, for aiming over and around cover I don't think it can be beat.
Hope this has been of some help...
That being a quote from "Feed the Newb" thread in the thrash. Seems odd that after 16 years of skirmishing, that you didn't pick up a trick like dishsoap or heading to you local diving shop for anti-fog spray (or ATV shop, or motorcycling shop etc etc.) Sorry, but either your fishing here, or you lied in the other thread.

As for fog, good vent and anti-fog spray will beat out any fan.

dracheous- for your info i got my first bb-gun -a 'springer-shotgun' back in '91/'92. i have always skirmished with my brothers and mates on private property -as opposed to a liscenced 'professional' bb site (which incedently are few and far between in the Highlands of Scotland...) -this is the first time i've had the opertunity to get feedback from 'proper'-skirmishers...i'm used to cleaning my goggles with tissue -thanks for the input anyway.
ps:are all Canadians as thorougth as you, or are you just an exception?

I've seen people modify the top rubber part by drilling holes into them that are smaller than 6MM.

Buy Bolle T800. I sweat like a motherfucker and I can fog up safety glasses. I treat the Bolles with anti-fog (from a paintball shop) and I can go forever and sweat oceans with zero fogging. I've tried paintball goggle with fans, and nothing else works for me.

I've got a small CPU cooling fan attached to my ESS Striker goggles. If you want a pre-fab setup, search for ESS Turbocam goggles or JT Vortex fans for paintball goggles.

I've found goggle fog is a #1 game wrecker, so for me, the fan and thermal lens are a must.
Hows the fans for noise, I like to hear ppl sneaking up on me, or hearing where the shots are coming from is helpful.

Most small computer fans(better quality ones any way) will have a db rating printed on them, easy to find really quite fans.
