i hear the exact opposite about star's UMP lol
plus star motors are crap
things i upgraded:
spring
spring guide with ball bearing**** (SUPER IMPORTANT ONE!!!!)
piston
piston head
cylinder head

honestly the spring guide makes the biggest difference since theres no shoulder bearings anywhere in the stock internals, it made my consistency go from 160-220 to 280-284, the fps raise was most likely from the piston head sealing better. Oh and they're all systema parts.

What version of gearbox is it? The STAR one used a V3 and I'm guessing the G&G one uses the same right? The UMP is at its sexiness when its got one of those Surefire flashlight+vertical grip combo things and an EOtech.

Wait, everything is at its sexiest when it has an EOtech on it...

im usin that RDS and it kicks butt lol

yes, version 3 gearbox, I'm not worried about the build material since im not putting it past 330 fps anyway
and the mags are HUGE, if they were weighed down to simulate a full .45 magazine you could easily beat someone to death with it.
