Yeah if I'm buying the one I'm looking at, which is at buyairsoft.ca, it's 200 + shipping + bb's = ~300

Dont leave a magazine charged. GBB care and feeding is in the FAQ section.

Take the time to get age-verified too, it will make your purchasing a lot easyer.

well, leave gas in the GBB mag to keep pressure on the seals...but take the BBs out so the spring is uncompressed.

I don't think BuyAirsoft.ca needs age verification, but I'm getting it anyhow for the Buy/Sell section on these forums.

they prefer to sell to +18, but only ASCA has the age verification system in their sales site.

I've always found it good practice to lube and leave just a bit of gas in the mags before storage. As Droc stated, it keeps the seals closed so they don't dry out. I've had mags stay in storage for 5-6 months and they were still able to shoot off a fair amount of rounds thereafter.

and on the other end of the table, I left 4 brand new mags with no gas for 48 hours(had gas before hand) and all 4 had leaking seals the next day.

Never had that happen to my gas guns in the past, or the one I have now. I did keep the seals carefully oiled at all times.

Yes. Don't worry too much, unless you're doing it excessively, though.

yeah, I figured it wouldn't do much damage (if any) when I was just testing it to see if the battery was going through

if you're testing your battery then it's not a big deal but prolonged dry-firing will wear out the gun. If I recall, the boys at Echigoya Tokyo said 1 dry fire = 80 bb's. Kinda puts things into perspective.

wow.... definetly a good thing I only did it once on full, now will only do semi! Big thanks for that little bit of info!
