Looks good, Fidget11. I'd never even thought of mixing a silver outer barrel with a black slide.
Have you considered putting a Hogue grip on that thing? I recently got the universal slip-on one and it's AMAZING. Very comfortable. |

yeah, i really want a classic all black 226, but that silver barrel does look extremely sexy. would you happen to have more pics of it?
i want hogue grips as well...but that'll come last for me |

i didnt take many but that said i do have a camera and would be willing to take more shots of it is you guys would like... i know i have thought of the hogue grips, havent actually done it yet though and honestly im not 100% sure that i want to. i kinda like the feel of the metal on the frame and with a full wrap around hogue grip i would lose some of that.

the engraving on the outside of the barrel is actually really nice and very deep, its just hard to get a pic of because i need to use a flash and the flash reflects of the nice shiney barrel.

Hey, fidget11. Did you get your parts in Edm? I'm going to be down there from G.P. next month and was wondering if they were local or from the Armoury? And you don't happen to have the part #'s do you? Looking on the ASCA site, I don't realy see what I need.

nope no places to shop in edmonton, so i bought all of mine from ASCA. the things i bought to get myself to this point besides the initial tm sig were:
-http://www.ascarmoury.com/product_info.php?cPath=5_57&products_id=200 -http://www.ascarmoury.com/product_info.php?cPath=5_56&products_id=234 the only thing i bought new for the gun besides those parts was a new front sight off JAFA since my first one was lost while doing the upgrade. if you are planning to do it, for the love of god do it on a clear surface with no carpeting nearby. also make sure you go slowly, keep track of every part as you go, have good lighting, tools, and i found that a pair of tweezers was quite useful as well.

You need some time and a dremel tool to modify it to fit. A good amount of the inside needs to be taken out to fit.

with a dremel and steady hand your looking at about 1/2 hour of work on the hogues, really not that bad.
