GBB's and You!

I have two GBBs that are both TM products, sometimes I really wish to buy more…but to up grade them the way I want it will cost me more than an arm and a leg.
Here are the descriptions of my two GBBs.

One TM P-226 Sig with the following upgrades:
Creation metal slide with metal outer barrel
Nine Ball short stroke recoil spring with stainless steel Teflon coated spring guide.
Guarder hammer spring
Two Firefly high flow valves for my two mags.
Tanio Koba twist inner barrel (freshly installed by Illusion today).
Guarder tactical red laser unit

The P-226 is really a jewel of a toy for me, almost too nice to take it to a game. But I did use the gun at a game at the Flag Raider a month ago for attacking and defending the drug lab and did very well with it.

My other GBB is a TM Tactical Master with the following upgrades:
Zeke metal slide with metal outer barrel.
King Arm 150% recoil spring and King Arm 170% hammer spring
High flow valve.

So I spend less money on my Tactical Master, but it’s been the ‘work horse’ gun for me.
Not sure when I will get another GBB, but the new 1911s from KCS and TM both look quite fine to me. But I will not settle for a stock gun, so that means it will be awhile before I can afford to create another GBB that I can call my customized gun.

I wouldnt mind seeing some pics now after Illusion had his hands on it

he does great work.

I might as well write up on my 226 now, some sketchy details as I dont know yet, previous owner off in the bushes lost somewhere

TM SIG P226

- Shooters Design POM Cycle Kit.
- Guarder Enhanced Trigger/Recoil Spring Set 150%
- Guarder Enhances Piston Lid
- Tightbore Inner Barrel

Shooting dead accurate and long range with .25 bb's, but I am upgrading to .30 or .36 soon as I tried them at sniper hunt with Stalker, what a difference in range and accuracy, not sure of the exact power loss, but when its shooting 320 with .25's its nothing to worry over.

Highly recomend this gun to anyone who wants a solid, reliable backup pistol to truely enjoy using when the AEG is out of ammo, or worse

I am surprise to see that we have a limited response on this thread so far. To my knowledge by going to games and some private 'planking' in the past that their are a lot of very well customized GBB out there. On the other hand I am aware that many of you have only marginal upgrade done on your GBB and maybe a little reluctant to post a reply here. Please remember... beauty is in eyes of the beholder, so why not tell us some of the good experience that you have on your 'limited' up graded GBBs.

Exactly why I created this thread, because I remember so many players were impressed up at Sniper Hunt when Stalker and I outranged AEG's across the pond with our GBB's.

So dont be shy, this thread is open to anyone with an upgraded GBB, even Mac 11... tell us! we wanna know.

Good responses so far, there are a few excelent, well done pistols in the Media Showcase that deserve a look and praise over.

I had the pleasure of holding and seeing ILLusion's masterpieces yesterday including his new Infinity Hi Capa. Truely amazing work.

Well I just bought my first GBB less then a week ago and I fuuuucking love it! I bought a KSC G23f Autoglock Heavyweight Frame with a G&G Metal Slide and Barrel, Guarder enhanced recoil Spring and Springuide, NIB Guarder Metal Mag Catch, and Glock Hogue Grips. Needless to say it kicks pretty well for such a small pistol especially in full auto, as well the wieght is amazing. I was at a game the other day and was handeling a few full metal pistols that felt like paper compared to mine. As well I have a Streamlight M6 which is just increabable, made for real steal use it takes a pounding. I was using it camping and it was practicaly like the old Duracell comercial where the kid's flashlight turns night into day. The laser is bing on where it should be and easy to switch from Laser, to light, and laser & light. The only thing I wanted to do yet was put a silencer on it but sadly the G23F doesn't have that option there is no threaded outter barrel out there. I havn't had it chronoed yet, but hope to ASAP.

That looks like a generic brand KSC G23F metal slide/outer barrel, not G&G. G&G actually doesn't make a G23F slide/outer barrel combo. They make a G19 one though. You can typically tell the generic branded ones by the white lettering.

On the near future aquisition list:

A KSC USP Compact (yes Miles, I know you have exactly what I want in stock, but I'm still recovering from my last visit!)

I have a USP .45... in black and tan colouring! OH DAMN, I'm so special.

As of right now, I'm just running it off of propane. Madmax of ASCA is the man I bought the gun from and stock it chrono'd at 330~fps, it didn't drop below once!

Stuff ordered:
Shooter's Design Black metal slide and barrel (should come by next thursday, hopefully the plastic parts won't die by then)
Shooter's Design 150% spring kit
6.04mm tight barrel

I have two 7" inch silver dragon strikers. (The rest of you may have extensions, but I think mine is longer stock). I have seen the black in a few places, but yet to see the silver for sale. And I have never seen anybody on the field with one.
