My G&P SPR/a is a negative thread, and the first time was a bitch to remove. I ended up wrapping it in a chamois and then using vice grips to get ahold of it to turn it off the first time.

Thank you all for the information!

I finally removed the damn flash hider a few minutes ago.
I found some red glue between the flash hider and the barrel.

This is what did:
-put the flash hider in boiling water.
-cook it for 10 minutes :flame:
It just came off easily.

yeah that would be red locktight. the only thing aside from alot of brute force that will break that stuff is heat and lots of it.
