try putting your ear to the top of the mag, if you hear hissing it might be a problem (generally if you hear a leak, its pretty bad). alternatively, you could summerse the mag in water to look for air bubble seeping out of the mag. just be sure to dry it well before storing (towels, hair dryer)
there is most likely no damage done to the mag, but i wouldn't suggest you depress the valve every time to vent gas. |

Another question just came to mind, i've been reading about this duster gas thing. Is it that stuff that u buy in a can to dust your keyboard with. So bacisally its air in a can... does it actually work? Like fire?

Yes it's the can of 'air' used on keyboards and other compainets. Its not actually air, its chemicals of some kind. And what do you mean "like fire" ?
Read the FAQ please.

As long as you don't have tougher springs or a heavy metal slide. If your gun is designed for green gas (propane) then stick with the propane, it probably needs it to cycle.

Make sure you get one with tetrafluoroethane not that di-(forget what it's called) stuff. It's even weaker.

Errm... The gun needs a metal slide in order for this to work. If your slide is plastic, you will need to use Duster gas. PM Madmax with instructions on how to buy a Duster adapter. ($14) IF your slide is metal, then go with propane. www.airsoft-innovations.com You'll need to pick up a propane adapter. $30 Remember never to use propane with a plastic slide. Some will do this, but it will damage the plastic slide, as it is not strong enough, and it will eventually crack, and break, becoming un usable, and you will have to dish out an extra hundred some bucks to buy a new metal slide. (Metal slide is easier and more conveniant, so I suggest you upgrade with that) |

AFAIK Zellers only carries one brand of duster from the Belkin company in red packaging called 'The Blaster'. It is Tetrafluoroethane, and a 12 Oz. Bottle costs 10.97 + Tax.
I haven't seen anything else come into our stores yet, but it may differ from province to province.
