If you find an MP5 with the full stock cumbersome, it's because nobody ever showed you how to use it in CQB situations properly. There are ways to use anything from a handgun to a SG1 or even a bolt action rifle indoors. It's done all over the world in real situations, it can be done for airsoft.
It all hinges on how much money this guy wants to spend or not for a given result.

Admitted, I was not shown. However, the PB mask and ten-feet-to-a-wall distances really didn't even make it worthwhile.
