Saying to everyone: "I'm going to take them all down SWAT style" and yapping about how good they are. And than seeing them rush like a paintball clown and getting shot up by multiple people in the first 30 seconds of the game.

That happend every 2 games actually.

And the classic of : "I played paintball for X number of year, so I'm good..."

Or an other classic: "I was in the cadets, so I know how to do it..."

Talking about how l33t of a sniper they are and buying a VSR-10 or the like right off the bat to play with. Then getting bored when they get hosed down with any AEG and quitting.

my favorite is the i hunt, or i was in the military/reserves, so you guys are gonna get beat bad and then watch said player get his ass kicked just about every game he shows up for. thats not to say anything bad about our reserve/soldiers training, nor am i trying to trash hunters, but, just cause you have the training, or hunt deer doesnt mean you will rock in airsoft.

i do like it when new players spend all thier time talking on the feild as well and while we havent had an incedent with a player discharging his gun in the safezone, we did have an eye shot because of unsecured glasses.

One of the classic mistakes of "experienced" people is to not realize just how different airsoft guns are from the real thing.
They expect high accuracy, long ranges, etc.

Talking \m/

Here's one

Yelling and waving at you when your concealed position, during the a firefight. I remember one game this guy kept Yelling and waving at me to come run back and "help" . 8O

Or realizing they did'nt put on enough bug juice and they are swaping themselves making all kinds of noise during the game :hammer:

Getting stuck with Game Hosting duties. I mean, wtf?!! Thanks for bailing out on me, ice-man! *lol*

Okay, so maybe that's not too common. But a common issue with new players is that, they tend to reload their mags while out in the open. This ain't Counter-Strike, geez... you don't get multiple hits/health meter. Get some cover if you're going to reload! *looking at Predator's direction* hehe

  • Buying crap equipment cause they think it looks cool.
  • Spending every penny they have on that crap because they want everything CHEAP and NOW instead of saving for what's worth using and waiting a while to get it.
  • Putting mountains of shit on their first AEG only to find that gun rice doesn't make you a better player.
  • Exhaust themselves in the first 5 minutes of a game then retire to the safe area.
  • Buy brand-new boots and wear them on the field without breaking them in.
  • Make negative comments about vets like "You should get a tac vest instead of that webbing" not realising that the person in question has owned every single peice of equipment possible and reverted to what works best for the game in question
  • Kiss ass to other vets they've never met because it makes them feel like they're "in the club"
  • Throw salutes and call people SIR. Jesus Christ, it's a SIMULATED rank man. I don't take myself that seriously...
  • Use flashlights at night games, blinding everyone around them and then getting shot by the opfor who properly developped his or her natural night vision
  • Put 500 fucking IR patches on their BDU for that uber-leet spec ops look, not realising that their leetness just gave me a fucking beacon to zero in on with my NVG.
  • Wear sneakers. I ain't carrying you out later, pal.
  • Bringing only ding-dongs and licorice as a food source.
  • Play General.
