Suggestion: wanna figure out the fps?? add all the ones uve heard, divide by how many u heard and voila! it may not be perfect, but its an average. better then nothing. if you have been here for months, you should know not to yell (caps lock) and not to tell people to "SHUT UP!" Also, next time, if you have a question do it in your own thread. someone else started this so he could get info, not so you could distract people from the main idea by adding another question.

see i dont udnerstand it. other people say to not start a new thread if it is related to the topic so that it wont get crowded but now you're telling me to start a new thread.
and i'm not yelling, i just wrote it in caps lock so greylocks can see it. also, i have read some high numbers and low numbers. the average would be quite off from the ranges i was given. do you really think that, that is a great average to work with if i'm gonna spend $500+ on a gun? not really. i'd rather have a more exact reading. where the range from one fps reading to another is much smaller. |

The original poster did not ask your question. FPS was not mentioned. You jacked his thread.
Want to know the speed of a gun? All you have to do is click on the Retailers websites and check the reviews/specs of each gun. A tiny bit of math will give you an average FPS (basic education required). Extra research will also tell you that FPS varies by the weight of the BB, the weather, and the barrel lenght so an official number is really impossible to get (basic physics, high school subject). But, since you did your RESEARCH for months, you already know that, right? Now that was a flame. |

Make sure you get the FPS ratings from Canadian airsoft sites. Most U.S. ones tend to BS a lot.

j3anius, watch the language and insults. You have barely been a part of this community for 3 months, if you have an issue with someones post use the report bad post link or report it to a Mod.

j3anius, greylocks is a bit of a terd, but i've found you can't do much about it . Plus 90% of the posters here seem to admire his constant judging. If you want to ask questions and get a nice answer, check out other airsoft fourms. This fourm is mostly for elite air soft players who bash n00bs.

For j3anius: I am proud to have never posted a stupid question, as for FPS listings, go to www.redwolfairsoft.com, it lists stock FPS of everything they sell. As for bb weight affecting FPS, that can be found on ASC if you do a search.
For Dagjoe: You sir are a moron, go away.
