Actually... G&P, CA, TM, G&G or ICS are all equally easy to obtain as an importer. There is not one more difficult than the other to bring in. We have direct accounts with all of these manufacturers. You are very correct however when you speak of the customers demanding a certain product. We choose not to bring in CA simply because we do not have the demand. If there was a large demand, then we would bring whatever we needed to in to fill that demand.
And yes, I agree too with mcguyver and rumpel felt. I would also buy a full metal gun before the plastic.
