Those are usually well organized events. Most fields that host those events usually have skirm days (less formal, walk-on type games) that I suggest they trial during.

Funny thing that, if I recall correctly there used to be a discrepancy between provinces for splitting multicam. The majority considered it tan, but I believe a few used to consider it green. Nowadays, I think it's more or less universally considered tan.

Many large events use tan versus green to pre-split teams. There are many versatile and effective camouflages in both spectrums, and finding out where you're playing isn't difficult. But many camo patterns look green, then walk fifty feet and they now look tan, so it's always based on what they actually are and not how they trick the eye. It's up to the player to learn to spot and identify enemies versus friendlies.

Yes, Multicam is tan.
