Have you or anyone else found small batteries to be a nuisance? or is it just something you deal with ? I'm kind of digging the external battery packs that are designed to look like laser sights.

Somewhat a nuisance, But, if your not a trigger happy bastard, than it shouldant be a problem at all.

Doing the LAM battery box on the aug might not be the best way to go, seeing as there are no RIS rails that can be mounted unless you get a rail on the fron barrel, or (please no) mount it on the sight rail. Plus the looooong wires that you would have to fish through the gun. and the extra resistance would reduce power.

Well, the AUG I'm getting has a modification which widens the amount in the stock to allow a larger battery... you could do that.

Nah, the KJW M9’s a (as other people have all swore to me) workhorse. However, I’ve heard an equal number of complaints of slide/barrel cracking and other defects, as the metal is fairly poor quality (As others put it, “Pot metal”).

that's just on the m9 elite. kjw's m9 (black or silver) is as solid as the m190 from hfc. the m190 has a fatter grip and mine was a trial for my smaller hands, where my m9 was a nearly perfect fit. i'm not a fan of the full-auto version with compensator. they use some really small cast metal parts in the safety/fire selection system that contact the slide indents at high-speed while in full auto and a few have broken here. i've looked at repairing them, but parts aren't available for me. the semi-auto m190 is a good gun and i have no performance complaints about it, other than the usual cold-weather stuff.
