From what I know, no... I'll have to look into that one. there are a couple levers are little switches that I dont know what there used for, so I need to figure them out.

Hey Erik_james and everybody,

I just received my Marushin M1 Garand also. In fact, I was looking into the gun way before this gun even came out (even before Erik_james was looking at it). I bought it from Rangers Airsoft. They took more than 6 months to get it...they screwed up, sent me an m1 carbine instead, so i sent it back and they said they brought the garand over but supplier missed the order so they needed to backorder...you get the picture. I ordered it back in april. Yeah... Anyhow, if any of you are really into WWII realism and stuff which I am, I am extremely impressed by the weight and everything and all the details that Erik_james has said I agree with 100%. One thing to add for those of you who are really into this kind of thing, I bought a real M1 Garand bayonet for this gun way back when I first ordered the garand. It doesn't fit 100%. Somehow, there is this extra piece of metal that sticks out on the barrel that is a little too long that I believe should be part of the lug. The real steel garand has one also, but it is a little shorter allowing the bayonet catch to click into place. I know it's not like bayonets are allowed on the field anyway, but just to point and aim and play around with realism every now and again, it may be a little annoying. Thought I'd add to the detail.
