Maybe you can put your mouth at the end of the barrel and suck as hard as you can while fireing the gun. Might unjam the thing.

On a more serious note, to dry the gun: what we use in labs to dry quickly our stuff is to use acetone. Put al little bit on the thing you want to dry, and ventilate a lot. It will clear all the humidity. BUT, I don't know if there is a lot of plastic in your gun. Acetone might damage some plastic pieces. Anyway, I'm not sure if this is a good idea. The more experimented members here will tell (by flaming I guess :"Putting acetone in a gun? You idiot!)"
Anyway, due to the actual condition of your gun, it can't be worse.

If so, there's not much you can do that wont destroy the gun if you dont know how to take it apart.

If it's already a hopeless cause, and I think it is, may as well try this;

Get a bucket, fill it with water that is as hot as you could stand it without burning yourself or melting the plastic.
Put the entire gun and magazine in there.
Hope the paint and whatever crap dissolves.

Remove the gun, dry everything out quickly (you could try compressed air for that). Add a smear of silicone oil on the moving parts, and pray.

Adding details about your location in your profile is just a matter of courtesy, nobody here reads minds.
pulled the gun out of storage today, i had been using only BBs in it, decided i'd try the 6mm paintball, and on shot 2, she jammed. so the paintball has been stuck in it for less than 24 hours at this point

as far as the profile goes, i just slapped the account together in a hurry to try and ask my question quickly before work, i'll update it soon

Anyways, are you just too worried about breaking it to open it up?

Because without a brand name, nobody here is going to be able to give you the specific rundown on how to fix it.

Marui pistols will field strip.
Many other brands will as well.

Some springers are put together with screws and glue.

If yours will field strip, that'd be awesome.
If it's got seams, glue, and screws, I'd say the gun is pretty fucked.

But, like I said, without more information on how the gun's built/brand/etc. there's not much can be done , even via the grand internet.

not sure what brand it is... got it on ebay 3 years ago or so... and yes it's got screws, seams, and i assume glue.

i need to graduate to an EBB just mount the old broken one somewhere and cry myself to sleep...

guess i'll just shell out the $40 for a new, better one, and stay far far away from paintballs. :banghead:

incidentally, can you recommend a site that sells EBB pistols at a fair price? A chrome Desert Eagle would be nice. I'll settle for black tho

oh, and ships to the US (if they're located elsewhere)

just because it's glued, doesn't mean it's hopeless...

it's just my experience that items that are built a certain way, tend to be very difficult to take apart without damaging them...

You could still try it.

Have you tried unjamming it by pushing something long and thin, but not sharp that'd scratch the barrel, through the barrel? If it's as good as dead, you may as well try that before you submerge it.
Some brands have a slide catch that'll lock the slide back with an empty magazine. If it'll do that, lock the slide back and you can try carefully pushing the obstructing paintball through. If it doesn't lock, it might be easy enough to hold it back with one hand and try to unjam it with your other.
For unjamming it, what comes to mind that might work alright is wooden skewers, plastic ballpoint pen refills (backwards) and NOT coathangers.
If you don't want to submerge it, you may be able to try that first (if you haven't already).
I don't know if you know if your gun has hopup (a little membrane at the top of the barrel where it starts that gives the bb backspin for more range), but if it does, forcing anything through it could damage that. Chances are, it doesn't have hopup though, in which case it should be safe enough to push something through. In case it does have hopup, you could just be careful not to push whatever you may use too far back through the barrel (don't push your rod past 1/4" from the end of the barrel inside the gun).

Just a heads up about Acetone and Plastic...
I work with Acetone everyday, all day, and its melts plastic very quickly
If you have a plastic gun, dont put it anywhere near Acetone!
