So I called up HSGI and they're sending me a return label for the TACO's and sending me the correct ones once they get the MC ones back. Not fond of waiting but not much I can do about it, at least customer service was nice, sorta. Think I'll grab my next belt from DSTactical since they're so close and hassle free. PS they have a sale coming up on May 10th apparently.

HSGI's just released extended mag TACO's, might help with your long mag problem.

Could give the extended rifle magazine TACO's a try when they release them, which should be soon since they released the pistol variant already.

Dimensions: 3”H x 1.2”W x 5”L

I believe that's a saiga 12 magazine stuffed in there, not sure.

well the p90 mags fit in the standard rifle tacos, they just look funny. The problem with getting new tacos is that my other mags won't fit in the long tacos.. kinda defeats the purpose of universal pouches that aren't so universal. lol.

Working on a solution to make them look not so narsty in the standard tacos.

Picked up an HSGI Duty belt in Large thinking I could use it on the Suregrip while I slim down a bit and its too big........ even after messing with the velcro adjustment...

The medium cobra is a little small and the large duty belt gives me waaaaaaaay too much slack... I have no idea what's going on with their belt sizing anymore.

Is there a sizing difference between the two belts or am I just plain screwed for sizing?? Am confused as hell right now.

That's strange. I'm a 30" waist (maybe even 29), I have a small sure grip with a small standard plastic buckle inner belt (duty belt?). They fit me perfectly, I can even make the inner larger. I can't see how a medium would be too small for you..? Must be serious sizing differences between cobra and duty belts...

Yeah, definitely strange. Even with the large belt adjusted to the smallest it can go I still have enough room to wear a parka under it comfortably... I'll take the large duty belt back and swap it for a medium and see if that fits. If it does then the duty belts and cobra belts are definitely not sized similarly...

Well I noticed I have a lot more room to play with on the medium Cobra on my small sure-grip.

My cobra doesn't have the inner velcro which makes the sure grip not super rock solid like the duty did, but I love the cobra :3

Well, a bit of an update. I finally got my Taco's in and spent the last 20 minutes or so installing them and they're a b**** to get on.

Anyways, let me know what you think.

So far, I'm digging this belt & setup. Weight distribution is not bad and it sits slightly above the waist, pretty comfortably. I might add a pouch or something behind the holster just to balance it out though. Didn't manage to get a duty belt in medium as DSTactical didn't have any in CB so I'm stuck with the Cobra for now but I'm thinking the duty belt would be better suited for use with single point slings as the cobra & D-ring can scratch and mar up a receiver quite a bit when its hanging from your sling (saw a thread about it on AR15 forums).

The one thing I'd change is the condor dump pouch, as it's a bit on the small side. Might replace it with a Tactical Tailor Fight Light Roll-up dump pouch in CB, but if anyone knows where I can find a nice Highlander dump pouch, let me know. I'm not a fan of the HSGI net dump pouch and the only HL pouch I found (that I like) is made by Tiger Tailor... in France...

Just finally ordered my sure grip : stoked for it to show up.

To the guy who was asking about what to do with his pistol riding high : I'm sure you figured it out by now but if now, I've been rocking a Gcode duty mount with my Gcode glock 17 holster and it is nice to get it down that few inches. Higher than a drop mount, lower than belt mount (I have a belt and a drop mount as well as the duty mount to compare all three)

Very happy with the duty mount.

Sorry for the necro but can anyone identify the molle mount for the serpa holster? I have the Blackhawk STRIKE molle platform but it takes up too much molle space on the small sized belt.

Look like a blade tech molle mount, apparently the patterns are interchangeable

and here I wasted all that money on a whole new blade tech holster -_-
