The slide gets stuck at this point now.

Heres my stupid file job. Feel free to put this in a 'worlds dumbest tech mistakes' thread.

try running without the disconnector.

Your gun should still function without it or the subsequent spring....

All that part does is delay the firing pin a little bit to let the hammer charge to give the firing pin room to retract. Once the hammer gets to a certain point during the stroke, the firing pin can freely move to a ready state (provided of course, the BBU can trip the disconnector properly).

It'll still work, you just won't have the insurance of having a safe gun since your firing pin will charge no matter what once your remove the disconnector.
lol.

Often times, when I test a gun, I take that disconnector and its spring out just so I don't lose them....

Oh I'm sorry I should have clarified, I took the disconnect out and it gets stuck at that point every 4th shot or so

Hmm..
You sure it's THE cause of your headaches? Other potential things like the trigger bar and sear are all ok and not causing the issue?

Since you took out the disconnector, THere must be something else that's causing the issue?
ie. THe arm on your loading muzzle is obstructed
ie. does your slide return slowly or does it come to an abrupt stop?

Things like that...

When you say "hammer assembley" do you mean, the whole thing is TM?

ie. the hammer housing, disconnect, firing pin and all that?

There's a slight difference in the TM hammer housing and WE hammer housing.

Some of the WE ones don't have the tabs beneath the rails like the TM ones do, for example. THis creates a lot of friction on the WE slide. When the slide returns to battery, sometimes those tabs won't allow it return fully. Even with a 200% recoil spring. lol. This is happens with both TM and WE slides mix-matched to different lower assemblies...

WE also uses a longer hammer bar pin. It will stick out on the TM housing causing trigger bar obstruction. This also cause the Hammer to be lopsided when it's charged.

Just a few examples of messed up fitting that causes ALOT of headaches. Part of them is your symptoms.

My sugestion is to put back the original WE hammer and sell it.

THen buy a Marui Glock.

The housing is tm, the rest is we. But yeah the pin is longer, and I should switch it our. I think you fingered my problem. I'll switch the housing back out for a we one.

And don't worry I already bought a TM glock ;-) I'm tired of this shit haha

Well...

You have GBBR's support and mine if you need help.

If he gets banned again, you can always send me a PM as an alternative. Or the whole gun if you really want.

EDIT: Nevermind. It's for sale now anyways. heh...

Yeah at this point I just want to get it functional so I can sell it. But yeah that block on the TM housing is right where the slide sticks

I forgot to mention...

Your trigger bar can prevent your slide from ever returning to battery.
In the Marui guns, they get caught on the BBU near the front.

There's usually a second cut on the BBU. This is were it gets caught. It will look like your slide catch is engaged but when you go to release it, you're like ....WTF!?.

If it happens, you'll need a significant amount force to push the slide forward.
Either that or you manually lower the trigger bar by poking your finger in the ejection port and pushing it down.

IF I re-call though, the WE BBUs doesn't have that secondary cut.
I doubt it's the cause though. It's more prominent on the G17 since the trigger bar is thinner on that system. ..and since you're technically not getting a full stroke.

But judging from your pics, I say just check it just to be safe...
