Doesn't look that bad on this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtScOeNcq0I
Some problems with full auto, but cooldown isn't what I'd call terrible.
Check the English subtitles for his impressions.

I don't think you can tell in the video. Magazine for mp5 is way to long and narrow. Not like m4 has the larger area work like a heat sink to minimize cool down effect. The only way you can find out is , keep shooting it empty and reload again, and again, then you should able to find out. Even m4 mag, if you keep doing it, it will get jam or stuck by the cool down effect. Correct me if I'm wrong!

Cool down is a constant companion for GBB .. just something to be expected to one degree or another.. can't escape thermodynamics.

the video posted above shows what looks like a pretty well put together item.

impressed that the 3 round burst feature seems to be more than paint on the receiver.

Of course shooting at sub 300 FPS this unit won't fly for legal import. But a silencer with an extended barrel should fix that.

the full size one could be quite strong and luckily we's good at accomodating canadian limits with those long barrels and flute valves. colour me excited, need to make up for that helpless feeling of failure i still have lingering from my vfc.

The thing is with WE (and I am a WE fan) they release guns like this with substandard internals so they WILL fail, they then have RA-Tech make heavily overpriced upgraded internals because I swear WE and RA-tech are something to do with each other.
By comparison the VFC MP5k is really not much more expensive than the WE MP5k, but the kicker is that the VFC has very inexpensive upgrade parts on the market.
My VFC MP5k has just about every upgrade on the market, and it cost me probably $150 total, and that includes upgrades I've removed and replaced due to incompatibility issues.

I like others will keep my money safe in my pocket and stick with my totally flawless VFCs

And the money I save will go on the beauty that is the VFC MP7

Though I didn't have a good experience from my VFC MP5A2(early generation) and I own a lot of WE products, I do agree the money i spent for mod and fix my WE M4, was way much more than the VFC MP5. Even the time too! Believe it or not?

From what I have heard, that RA-Tech and WE are partners in business. So that is why RA-TECH is able to get parts and guns from WE well before it is even released on to the public so RA-TECH can clone the parts.

The WE mag is ugly, the bb's show and there are the two pins bare exposed.
The VFC mag has a outer shell that sits on top of the mag internals, thus making it more real just like the real steel.

Can't compare a M4 to a MP5, different kind of gun. The MP5 trigger group is much more complicated than the M4, and the bolt is more complex also.

Seems like the cool down effect freezing the contact between nozzle and mag, most likely?? Or the same problem as my WE m4, trigger group failed, had to replace by Ratech. They got my money and my time spent to figure it out what the problems was!!
