Just thought I'd say something.
I love my s system, it's dam sexy and sturdy to put it into laymens terms. I am very happy with it, havent had problems yet at all, plus all my military friends drool over it because it is exactly the same as a c8 with a sopmod rail. It is not full metal, but the parts that are plastic like the receiver etc... Has the same feel, texture and look, until you flick it an realize its plastic. It is also very very similar to a real c8 (M4A1) with weight distribution etc... The weight is also almost the same. I'm really happy with mine, it was a good investment. Well time for me to bust, hopefully I've helped a little bit.

i just bought an m4-s
and its really sturdy compared to my m4a1 that i had in the past. (sold it to v82slo) and its converted into an M4s now also. Absolutly love the gun, looking to upgrade it to about 380 FPS and getting a velocity reducer for indoor use... i can't afford an indoor and out door :S any ideas what i should upgrade?

what the pirate says is sensible. if you want full metal be prepared to pay a hefty price tag. you can get full metal guns nowadays but not all of those from ANY of the other manufacturers work like a dream as any of the TM guns out of the box.
it's really up to you. I recently got a TM M4 S-System and compared to the other full metal guns i have had in the past, the weight is very much like them. - DTP metal body M16 w/M5 RAS unit & G&P QD M203 long - Systema full metal M4 RAS w/ SP M203 long Full metal body's are lightweight now, it's just the cold touch you get when you feel it that is different. Metal bodies can only take so much stress and depends on what you do with your guns when playing. Also, you lose the easy take down feature if you switch to a metal body and if you break a tab it is costly to replace the whole body. i hope TM release the M4 S-System body as an aftermarket part so we can replace our bodies if we need to. I'd replace the ones on my other TM M4s if the price is right.

So I guess you are refering to wanting the M4 body being metal. That is all that really can be changed to metal everything else is already pot metal or aluminum to make your gun full metal. its around $680 for the TM M4 S-System. you could save for G&G or ICS Armalites that cost around $700-$900 in canada. though if you aren't someone that knows how to fix your own gun, you may have your gun sitting in the shop for a while if you get a lemon.
