or it would make for a much shorter movie. although it would make a really really cool scene and they'd still be alive, but i think it's like the same thing in horror movies where the girl runs away, trips and gets killed. same thing *shrugs*.

But since the movie is based on real events, that would be like saying the Titanic never sank.

Also, i think the arming switch for the miniguns were in the cockpit.. Maybe they didnt want to take the time to try and figure out where teh switch was, and instead wanted to shoot??

As everyone else said, 1911's in deltas hands, and m9 for the rangers.

I think most operators now are using sigs. I read something about some delta guys that got custom built hi-cap STIs, custom tuned by Larry Vickers. >_O;
