Since an AEG with no battery power is a glorified paperweight at a game, I suggest a full stock model or a few spare batteries.

can i mod my ak 47s to fit a larger battery ? is there any way other than putting it on the outside?

You can get a metal front, it allows to use longer/large capacity stick batteries. That's pretty much your only option other than having a battery bag hanging outside.

You can find a King Arms AK metal front set from the WGC web sit that will fit a lager battery with some modification.
Look into the metal boby session and the stock number is KA-SK-09...is out of stock now. But you can try Airsoft Canada Armory, maybe HonestJohn can get it for you on his next WGC order.

You can wait for "all steel" version of CA SLR105A1. Thing comes with wood furniture and full metal body apparently made out of steel. Other than that, you will have to buy wood kit separately since all stock AK's come with plastic furniture. CA, ICS and G&G AK's are all good but I haven't seen wood kits for them, except for custom made ones or moded r/s wood. As for where to buy, check "Canadian Retailers" bar on top. Retailers with good reputation can be found there.

Canadian Retailers, and being 18. That's all you need. There is a Review about the ICS AK.
The distance of the retailers to your house does not matter.
