What do you know, I have a Socom Gear Oasis pistol in the locker. The mags aren't quiet fill and I have an AI adapter for this that works no sweat.
So since the mag worked before it's likely an issue with technique or a dud adapter. Find a buddy with one and try his.

No, don't buy green gas. It's overpriced propane.
Buy propane. |

BINGO!
My bet is on this. You have to hold the mag upside-down in your hand, and put the propane tank on top, with the adapter pointing down in the fill valve. Then, press both as hard as you can. If you stick your ear to the propane tank, you will hear it fill if it's a silent valve. If it's a regular valve, you will ear a little hisss and you will see a cloud of gas when it's full. Also, there has been a batch of defective propane tanks what where not working with the adapters. Go outside, put the propane tank upside on a table and push the adapter down with a pair of plier. It should shoot a white cloud out. If not, you have an empty tank of the adapter is not working. You should be able to push about 1/4" down.

For those who are still interested in this thread.I went to the dealer today.
He immediately found the adapter to be defective-changed it and successfully filled with my propane. I got about 35 shots one one fill which I believe is good. I filled again with no problem- so back in the game. I am posting a new thread, as a newbie ,on bb weights and hop up adjustment. |
