I don't know if you're aware, but there are rails on that CASV that you can either screw on or not.

zap straps!
I used to have a CASV, I had a rail mounted M203 on it actually, got sick of it being mounted so low and learned that the rail system on the M203 is bolt on. So I machined it down a bit and drilled 2 holes in my M203 and bolted it directly to the bottom of the CASV as shown here.... |

+1. I have a D-boys CASV and it is the heavyest piece of caca. I had to remove most of the rails and leave the ones I was using. If you do get a CASV rail then get the medium sized one. The one with the cutaway for the front site isn't as nice as it looks in the photos.

The quality on mine isn't the best, I find the metal to be quite maliable. However, I was surprised and pleased at the fact I can fit a 9.6v numchuk battery in it.

For sure, I was just one of the unfortunate souls that got the lemon lol. I wish D-boys made a mid length modle too.

the back-up sights won't work with the EOtech mounted. The top-rail on a CASV raises the control interface of the holosight into the sight picture. To use them, you'd have to ditch the EOtech first. Plus, to properly use the AFG, with your thumb over the top rail, might prove to be an issue, especially with the added rail adding more width. CASVs can be pretty thick with stuff on them.
Have a King Arms CASV, it's rock-solid. Heavy, but it's pretty much indestructible, so far as I've noticed.
