Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

Depends on your location
Like here in Manitoba, when your playing with the MAA, scrim rules are open for suggestion. We often do real-hit (where you cant use a limb that's been hit), realcap loads (to even the field for GBBR users, and it's fun), no LMG games, etc OPs often have ammo restrictions and such as well |

I run my WETTI M4 GBBR for CQB (indoors) and when the weather permits outdoors.
Otherwise - its an AEG. If I had my choice - it would be GBBR all the time. Guys are starting to look more into C02 mags for cold weather use... As long as you maintain your GBBR correctly (ie. clean and lube it before and after use) you should have no problem.

I'm with Eeyore on this one. Make sure you have a good AEG first. I am just looking into my first GBBR as well. If I didn't have my AEG I wouldn't even be considering running gas of any kind, and by gas I mean I will be running C02. The climate where I live isn't friendly to gas guns so C02 is the best bet, atleast I think so.

I use a KjW M4 and a backup aeg since 7 month. I did only practices with my team for now but look stable. I never had to use my Aeg for the all day. I'm looking for my first game soon to see if it run with tough conditions. I don't want to go back to my aeg now...

GBBR are purely depends on what kinda of person you are. If you like to plink in your yard (rural) or play APSC (indoor or weather permit) They're really fun to use. I have my first AEG, (EBB) and the only thing that could satisfy me is the full auto, otherwise it's pretty boring to shoot. As for maintenance, I think every gun needs it, GBBR are more like M16, needs more check up than guns like FAL, G3, or AK in their days. As for GBBR only games, I doubt there will be many. For big cities like Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver probably once or twice a month. For a smaller cities, its unlikely. |

Gaming with a GBBR definitely add a bit more realism compared to an AEG unfortunately GBBR can also become a source of frustration and kill joy for some simply due to the fact that they do not have the knowledge of the system or simple maintanance schedule, GBBR are actually a bit more needy in terms of maintanance. So always have a reliable AEG as a back up.

I'd love to play in a GBBR only game but reality doesn't always allow that. Not everybody has plus there's always guns going down the night before because people were tweaking, upgrading or even just looking at their gun. So they go to a backup.
I have no problems with games mixing AEG and GBBR's but there also has to be a hard ammo cap where everyone is restricted to the same maximum limit plus they must real cap their mags to 30 rounds (34 for AEG's that loose BB's on mag changes) as with any GBBR or AEG, it's best to have a reliable backup period. We've been to countless games where several primary guns have gone down. Several of these games Wildcards multiple redundant backups would be loaned out because people didn't have a backup or a secondary. |
