OD and CB are the 2 colors that match with everything.

Check out the RRV. Or Rodesian Recon Vest. I got one and it's super versatile. It's afordable too. A real one, from a real gear maker ca ben had for less than 200$. A copy can be bellow 100$. Flyye and Pantac make good one I hear.

And when you discover that you need acurate gear for a specific loadout, your vest will still be usefull for something. Unlike the woodland stuff you linked.

For a guy of your size, you should probably avoid ACM vests as they're on the small-medium size range, a.k.a. "Asia sizing". Unless you want to have all the adjustments really slack and you'd look kinda funny with a panel being too small for you.

MOLLE is nice, but ACM webbing and stitching is generally of terrible quality. YouTube - Redwolf Labs 06 - Combat Vest Destruction Test - Pantac YouTube - Redwolf Labs 07 - Combat Vest Destruction Test - Pantac - Part II

ACM quality is far from the best. Condor is better than ACM, as per found at Airsoft-Club, though it usually will cost a little more. That being said, if you're a chairsofter, who cares? Your gear won't be subjected to any abuse - I'm quite hard on my stuff (kit especially), thus I tend to destroy things that I wear often fairly quickly if they're of sub-par quality.

That's my opinion.

I got a Pantac RRV from the ASCMart, its lightweight, and durable. I move around alot on the ground and my kit takes a beating, IMO I would go with something of the higher end side of things because I wouldn't waste my money on buying something that will break after using it awhile.

WOW excellent.. Thats for all the feedback some great ideas.. I know OD and Coyote go with everything but i think Woodlands does to.. Depending on what you have though.. I have Bijian Knee pads and they're rare to find in the city and they're woodlands so i'm sticking with it.. But i really do appreciate all the options thrown out there.. Great guys!!!

You're going to build a loadout based on your kneepads?? Do you plan on doing an accurate woodland impression?
If not....Why do you not listen to the good suggestions given to you?
OD and/or CB is the way to go. Then you can get whatever camo works best for the area you will play in. Effective and versatile is what you need.

We say dump the woodland if you want to be versatile, as most of the teams are made based on camo type. Usually digital paterns vs analor, green vs tan, solid vs camo or Nato vs the rest.

Having a plain color rig will let you change your BDU to match whatever dress code you like and not be a confusing target to others, especially your team.

Well you could always go with a woodland bdu, with the woodland knee pads and have an Olive Drab or Coyote Brown vest?

If your gonna go MultiCam/PMC try for a Tan vest. You can rock a black vest with pretty much all darker styles of camo. OD is good if your always gonna wear camo. I like to bounce between PMC ish when i play indoors, and camo'd when im outdoors.

Yuck, multicrap...

Technically, PMC's can't wear ANY camouflage, I think - they could be confused for military guys if they do.

I recall something about SWAT wearing all black for more of the shock-and-awe aspect than anything else. They don't have to blend into their environment, anyway. Blending in is definitely nice for airsoft, unless you love getting shot at.

This here is the best advice. Airsoft is totally all about customizing and dressing yourself and your gun in whatever manner you want to and/or whatever you think looks good (or appropriate).

Then again, you were asking for advice, so... uh.. yeah. Try figuring out what camouflage/colours work in your area/at your field. Depending on the season, the colours at the field will be changing too - keep that in mind? Some local guys here have a camo for every season. And as Fox has already stated, OD and CB are pretty much universal colours - they work with many different patterns of camouflage and in many different environments.
