A trick my SGT in the FC learned me (long time ago) is to put the stock directly on your shoulder. Move away a little your vest then replace it over the tip of your stock. Just like if you were trying to hide your airsoft under your armor. It makes everything a lot more comfortable.

I read this several times and still don't get exactly what you were trying to say it doesn't make any sense ...

Because i'm currently quite small (5'5 140lbs) my CIRAS is a little disproportionate on me even when between the smallest size (which pretty much chokes me) and the 3rd smallest (which is almost right).
Because i used Mr.Hitmans "plates" technique, i just trimmed down my plates to where my stock is going to sit against my shoulder. Might not work though if your using any other type of fake plates.

If you can, get a retractable stock (This is why the C7A2 has a retractable stock), and sit it directly over your right lung. Not over your shoulder.
Your chest must be perpendicular to your rifle (People have the HARDEST time doing this, I have no idea why) And bend your knees like your skiing down a hill. The whole reason for everyone using retractable stocks these days is because in this stance which maximizes your armor profile, you can't see through your scope or iron sights worth a damn if you have a full stock |

Exactly... I'm just confused to why people can't shoot with a regular stock. Im also short and i have never had a problem. Maybe take some gear off and get more comfortable BB's wont penetrate your clothing. I've been in the CF for years now and i have used every weapon they have. Not once could i not shoot or did this stop me from any tac ex's. retract stock or not. as thunder said, stick it right next to you lung and lean forward maybe that will help, if not rest it on the tip of your shoulder... if not then get a retract stock.. i have mine fully retracted, i hate long stocks, not because i cant shoot but because its easier and more maneuverable.

Get DragonSkin, bends enough to get the shouldering just right in any position
Ok it might be a bit expensive for airsoft, and too for others. Regular shouldering on the chest and without chicken wings works very well. If you have a stock with a patterned butt plate like an M4A1 stock, VLTOR EMOD, etc it helps a bit. My trainees like to put it more or less on the edge of a plate to have an additionnal support. |

anyone who thinks dragonskin ISN'T the best armor out there is an idiot.
Do proper research guys. It's grossly more expensive, and measurably heavier than current SAPI/kevlar combos, but it's classified as level 5 body armor. SAPI plates by nature can't achieve level 5 protection. One ceramic plate isn't nearly as effective as numerous small ones. |

It's capabilities aren't in doubt, it's the adhesive's ability to survive temperature extremes and solvent exposures etc is. I was not clear enough. There's more to the Pinnacle fiasco....if you do more proper research.

It's not like a vehicle where they recall them once they realize the lawsuits cost more than the recall, you don't think they've fixed these problems? lol

ThunderCactus summed it nicely.
Yes they had some issues on first batch, now they have the best armor ever made. I wouldn't get rid of it ever. Plus I don't consider the American issuing system to exactly be the least corrupted ever... completely the other way around actually. |
