Yeah, you'll possibly have to make a totally new chamber because the madbull shells (if they're the same as real steel) will be loose.

Resizing the inside won't be too much of an issue, I can improvise means to resize the inner diameter using strips of thin polystyrene. The gun that i'm building now is more of a draft than anything for the time being. The ones following will probably have metal barrels, rather than plastic.

Couldn't you use clear plastic instead? :P

Kidding, great idea, looking forward to the final product.

The shells are much different size. In both length and diameter.

For these shells:
http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1406

2.300 total length
0.765 diameter at main body
0.767 diameter at base
0.390 length of base
0.857 diameter of rim
0.080 length of rim

The rim is pretty much 45 degrees.

'primer' valve is 0.330 diameter

Nevermind, the shells are indeed a lot smaller. But that isn't an issue yet. Lol

The shells still fit! Just needs a bit of filing on the inside so they slide in. There is still a bit of friction.

The TM shell is indeed a 'lot' bigger. But just removing the 'chamber' allowed me to use the smaller ones.

I'm headed out in a few hours here with a freind (Mills0) to get some tools (Like a verniers caliper set, lol), bandsaw out of the garage, etc. Today i'm hoping to get a lot done.

Expect updates later today.

I'm assuming this is in Millimeters, right?

Also, are those the same shells you got Strelok?

Another update.

Alright, so far i'm just doing a mockup of how the trigger will work on these shotguns, so I have taken a few photos and made a video for you guys.

Again, this is just a MOCKUP MODEL. Not the actual gun. Work on the real thing will prolly start Thursday night, or friday.

(Yes, I know I say 'Um' a lot. Lol.)

I kinda dig the Zip gun more than an actual shotgun!

Hahaha, I might make shotgun pistols like that later. But a full shotgun is what i'm after.

Spent a couple hours in the shop today and fixed up a nice full length stock for the gun and a new barrel. Uses the same 'trigger' as the zip gun shown above.

Pretty simple stuff so far. Just comes down to making the barrel hinge off the front, be able to tip forward. and find a means to make it so the barrel can be latched down securely.

Then its off to paint the barrel up, stain and finish the wood and add in the other goodies I have planned for it.
