There are 2011 model Serpas or similar holsters? I thought you had to modify glock ones?

This is what I'm refering to...unless RM is referring to the gun model and not the holster? Either way, do the Hicappa's fit into the 1911 Serpa's without modifications? I've heard that they don't, but now I'm seeing that they can. Which is it?

1911 Serpas require only SLIGHT modification for Hicapas if you use the stock grips, or might need none at all with Tanio Koba grips. I "slightly modified" mine when I had the stock TM grips but now I have a TK grip, so I couldn't tell you if a TK grip doesn't require any modifications. |

Read the post I made.
Hicapa + TK grip means no modification at all. If you have a stock TM grip, the grip will hit the holster right before the safety engages. You have to grind the area of the holster where your middle finger lies on your grip. |

Yes. If you have a stock Hicapa grip, it is square. A 1911 has a rounded trigger guard so you have to shave some material off the trigger guard area of the holster (pistol will lock in fine after this).
Just modify and test, modify and test, until you get the right amount. Doesn't take that much work. |

Ok thanks, wanted to make sure that the holster is "modable" in the trigger guard area. Some people mod the trigger guard on the gun instead, but I don't think that'll look too good.

Would a TM 4.3 fit in BladeTech holster that's made for an STI tactical 4.15?

I don't think so, since STI still has a small slide cut and a shorter dust cover, where as TM modeled the SVI design with a squared slide and long dust cover...

You may be thinking about the STI tactical 5.0 and not the 4.15, which is the midlength version and has a long dust with rail.

I've been wanting to pickup the Blade-Tech Kydex WRS for the Kimber Warrior for some time. Now is this any different from the aforementioned Blade-Tech STI EDGE FDC or will I need to mod the holster to fit my TM 5.1 with an SD Kimber SIS slide?
