The build materials are all greatly inferior to the PM5.

If you want a UMP stock and a RIS... get a UMP!

I've been planning on doing an MP5 with a Strike front piece on it, and from what I can tell it has to be the RIS, and the UMP stock just make it look meaner. If it's all bad inside I'll probably just find a better brand then.

The bodies are the exact same on both versions, it's only the front end that's different

I know that, I had just thought the Strike body piece had to be mounted on the RIS style fronts. Avoiding buying whole new body pieces where possible.

I recently bought a G&G MP5 SD5 from the only Airsoft store near Edmonton. It's working great. It seems you can't have the silencer on when you are firing which is a downer, as it looks cool. I bought the only mags he had there which were JG 200 Hi-Caps and they do not seem to work. Where could i order or go and buy diffrent mags in Edmonton?

ive got the pm5 a4 and just wondering if any1 knows what RIS front ends and sliding or folding stocks would fit and work on it??

havent ran accross any sites that sell specifically G&G stocks or front ends

or if you know where i could buy them that would be nice too

the pm5 a4 is great, but i would like the option to get a folding or sliding stock for it and also a front end for some attachments

I wanted a railed forend as well and found that the RIS front end from a Broxa works well. There is a small amount of wiggle but it's fairly secure. Not bad for the $5 I spent.

My MP5A4 (or PM5, according to G&G) was chronographed with a surprising and very consistent 380 fps with .25g BBs, 400+ fps with .20g BBs. This makes it too hot for indoor use (at xTreme Tactics). I'm glad Amos posted his mechbox work. It will give me a starting point to do some of my own work.

Would a classic army retractable stock fit on these G&Gs? I'm thinking of replacing the full stock to a retractable one I just can't find G&G stocks right now.
