Needs an unobtrusive RDS, darker wood foregrips.

in b4 'it's not 5.56, it's not 7.62, that rail's ugly'.

Replace the Oring, or entire piston head on your Kraken, you'll notice a huge improvement.

Bob, There's quite a few things I need to show you... I can turn this east/west bastard of yours into a pile of pure pants creaming sex.

i may consider that. is it a very difficult process? or is it just a bit of part swapping?
this is the part id need right?

it says its for TM since krakens are TM compatible

If you're unable to open the mechbox yourself I'd get a guntech to do it.

Yes, that part would work just fine, But take note, the kraken piston head requires a little bit of "destructive" work to get it off the piston.

On the ones I've worked on I just dremel off the original piston head (it's a POS anyways) and install the new one.

Instead of a G&P piston head, I'd suggest a modify or Systema... You get more bang for your buck with those brands. Oh. Stay far away from Area 1000 anything.

do they sell those O rings by themselves? that sounds easier to replace

Yes.. tonnes of places sell Orings...

Just the right size is VERY difficult.

(Keep in mind, to replace the Oring, you need to disassemble everything anyways, while you're at it you may aswell replace the piston head)

Unless some one you know has upgraded their piston and everything and has a full TM stock piston (don't bother with stock CA pistons, many of them have the same problem as the cyma 028 pistons) upgrading piston head will be your best course of action.

I... think that's right.. (can't really tell from the picture... The Oring looks a little small...)

but the back of stock marui heads have the string-grabber thingy... Buy that, take the head off, and take the spring to the hardware store and get yourself some thread locker and a proper sized nut to fit on the bolt.

Really, you should just take the time and upgrade your piston head... everything you'll have to do is about the same amount of work.. and upgrading the piston head will give you the best result.

... Seriously, once you have everything apart... you may aswell just replace the piston head... It's a what... 15 dollar upgrade?

Just replace the whole piston head with something good.

Bob,

Do you think a very large 9.6V (1500mAh) stick battery would fit your AKS-74U without modifications?
