Haven't tried the ARS rubbers yet but if they are stock sized, then they will be a little loose on a madbull v2 barrel. Like the guarder clear I had, it will work but you have a string chance for air leaks. In my case, the clear was loose enough that the feed side of the rubber moved just enough over time, it shredded the feed end off causing a horrible jam and in the end internal mechbox damage.

I'm not an armalite man but I always used Teflon tape on the ends barels to help the seal. Dunno if that'd help people with the madbull v2 barrels.

Totally not enough said here..
You trying to say things made in Taiwan are better than things made in Japan? Or are you simply stating where things are made? |

There is no V2 barrel. V2 refers to the gearbox version (marui). V2 gearboxes are mostly used in M4/M16 AEG.

It is written on the side of the inner barrel.

Did up the modify chamber last night and installed it.
My fps clearly went up - mind you this is based on the poor mans pop can chrono. I dont know how much by but it did. The one thing i did notice was the barrel lock plastic piece, im not sure what its called but it sort of locks the barrel into the chamber at the very front - mine doesn't fit on my madbull v2 barrel very well at all its small, I tried to use my CA stock one but its too big to fit as well. Not that this is an issue it stays in place fine. Another thing i noticed is that im now getting bbs dropping out of my barrel, it will shoot just fine but there is the occassional bb that drops, i had 3 drop out of a magazine with about 20 rounds in it. ** I have yet to get out and see if my range and accuracy increased. ** Using: Magpul pmags 120rnds, .20g BBBasterds Last edited by Rabbit; April 23rd, 2011 at 19:00.. |

I don't have those problems. I'm using Star/Magpul Pmag 75 rounds magazines and no misfeed. Was a perfect fit with the prommy barrel also. Only complaint as I said, it is hard to adjust because too sensitive adjustment wheel and a bit too large and very tight fit. I'm using KSC perfect .25g BB and I will change to .28g to see if any difference in accuracy and range.
