very well said! Alot of people say Multicam is too light.

Now take a look at how Multicam works when you do it right....

I have a camera full of pictures taken from 6-28-06 through 7-2-06 I will get developed and scanned by this weekend. You will see why I favor Multicam soo much after you see these pictures. You will also see that cadpat would not work well in this kind of setting very well. You could say MI is an arid temerate area. We have cactus and sand dunes, then 100 yards away we got dark pines. tough on camo choices....

CADPAT in the Canadian summer, MARPAT in the spring and fall when you have a lot of browns still, and Russian whites in the winter.

Flectarn is almost equally effective to CADPAT, but I've spotted flectarn more easily than CADPAT in midsummer because of the size and shade of browns in it.

Danish camo is funcationally equivalent to CADPAT in my opinion. Its also very cool looking. If I was ever to buy camo again, I'd love a set of that stuff.

I've only played in my new multicam once, but some cool pics came out of that day. Here are two of my favourites:

And, Hazard in cadpat, me in multicam:

My guess is if you were standing there in any Camo it would look effective. Having played against you wearing ICU I can honestly say your the first guy I see coming through the bush. But dont get me wrong because thats fine by me So long as your on the other team.

with being in the Canadian Forces this opion is based off of my own experience. and in early summer - late summer Cadpat is one of the best camo's out there. The reason why Cadpat and all digital camo's work so well is because the brain and the eye recoginize patterns, and Cadpat is totaly random paint by numbers. There is no pattern to Cadpat, thus Cadpat is very effective when employed with the proper cam and concealment.

But my personal favorite is my East German "rainpat" as I call it. My wife found the set for $15.00 US at a Army Navy store. An old design it may be but it does a fine job of multiple enviroment blending...

I hope these pics helped some

I don't have a hell of a lot of experience with Camo, but id say CadPat works pretty much as well if not better than Woodland and MultiCam. Ive seen cadpat in use in Ontario and Alberta (Pretty much every type of terrain cept tundra). The only times Cadpat redered useless in my opinion is I high light situations and or Snow like conditions. Id rate it about 5 in late spring, summer, early fall. About a 3-4 in late fall early winter. And about 1-2 in winter

I don't have a lot of experience with CAdPat but I have a friend who swears by it. Personally, I go for the all black look or the dark browns... W007 night ops!
