That`s what I`m thinking too, but the arm pocket throws me off. And it can`t be from DZ because it`s got the flag patch.

Warning Trade Dispute!! POSSIBLE FRAUD!! Buyer beware!!

most likely it is the gortex jacket with pocket modifications on the arm just like the shirts being modified with arm pockets from the inside of the lower pockets.

Yeah, as a very general statement, their hair looks too clean cut for SF.

Which Sig pistol are they using? P225?

I highly doubt they are SF, they won't allow you to take pictures of any of their members, having worked with a few, I've had to destroy film right in front of them just because one of them was in the back ground of it. That is some secret squirl stuff they don't want photo's video or anything taken of them, unless the rules have changed over the course of a year. They do not wear rank generally, or they can and will wear any unit epillet they want to depending on the mission. The weapon I've seen them with is the C8 but that was in bosnia.

who knows, it's probably aftermarket.
I love how one of you said "they look more like SF than Peacekeepers". well fact is, this isn't a peacekeeping operation, just like Bandit said. In addition, things have changed since the last major peackeeping op in the balkans. new uniforms, vehicles, technology and weapons have changed the look of the canadian soldier. if we had all the things we do now back in the 90s, we'd have worn it there too. you might have noticed that many of the soldiers aren't wearing the issued tactical vest and have instead opted for an aftermarket chest rig or something along those lines. This is primarily because the TV isn't suitable for most combat troops and the reality is that only an aftermarket rig does the job. That does not make these soldiers into Special Forces. it merely indicates the variety and relaxed uniform code that deployed troops enjoy at the moment. Back in canada, troops are much more restricted and need to make do with issue stuff. |

So the aftermarket you were referring to..is the jacket? Or the vests (which are obvious). I think I know what the jacket is now..looks alot like it would be the new AF Goretex shell..
