I've been thinking about giving the Gate TITAN a go when it comes out...

I don't think there's a BTC carrier in Japan... and all of the shops I'd like to buy from in Canada are sold out

Gate doesn't exactly have a good reputation. My home brew FETs have lower failure rates than their products.

You could try one of the jefftron fets... similar features to the btc offering, and coming out of eu so you might find it easier to get. I don't know about reliability of them though.

For sharpshooters in urban operations etc it's plausible something similar was attempted. It was the 70s after all. Lots of party drugs and nowhere near the suppressor know-how that we have today.
Tons and tons of cool and kooky shit never goes into full scale production.

Riley: It's very cool and I'd put it on a gun wall just to see how many people notice.

Finished for now... pretty much solidly Prometheus internals. Replaced the garbo CA motor with a TM EG1000 and got a TM hop-up unit.

Only thing it needs now is a FET! From my very basic testing (Maximum range I have without heading out of the city to test) It's getting a very consistent 150 feet. At range I'm able to hit an A4 piece of paper 8/10 times!

So I have an oldass CA 33E and a Cyma SD6. You've inspired me to mush the two together because the only thing more hilarious than this thing you've made is a 9mm with a 14" (?) Rifle barrel.

...and I get to have a 33SD as well which may even be more plausible than your 7.62 Murderator.
It's called an 'HK Muderator' now fyi.

Not quite sure on the front end of the 33E, but for me it was a matter of filing and persuading things to line up before driving bolts through holes.

I really, really want to use this... For some reason decent G3 midcaps are really hard to find... Anyone know where the packs of 130 round KA metal mags went!?

Hrm. I contacted Toronto Airsoft about the shipping the BTC fet and was met with a stiff "We don't ship internationally" ... Shame the other Canadian retailers that are willing to work with me are sold out

Get someone in Canada to pick one up for you and ship it to you. I'd do it, but I'm not in Toronto. ;)

I seem to recall something about EOD Steve becoming a BTC dealer. Maybe hit him up?

If you're actually dead set on getting one, I can act as middleman next time I'm at Toronto Airsoft.

I'll do a little bit of browsing to try and find one on this side of the world right now, but I'll keep that in mind if I end up wanting to get one from T.Airsoft
