Have you tried fitting the 1911 beavertail to the Hi-Capa?

Yup, works fine. But it's a government style safety and not a beavertail so there is no issue with the fit to the back of the frame. Works perfectly internally. Here is the Nova compared to a hi-capa safety.

I guess normall people go the other way around since you want a beavertail safety for a 1911....but the frame makes that a difficult fit(along with certain hammer/beavertail combo)....Krame's 1911 doesn't have a beavertail, I guess if he tries to fit it it could at least tell functionality of it...

I for one love the Hicapa grip. It's simple and rectangular with just the right amount of texture.
Forgot to add I also installed Airsoft surgeon's speed blow back unit.. I love the Infinity series.. I'm now thinking about powder coating the slide to make the entire thing black.. Would powder coating affect the slide's performance? Oh and racingmaniac, I would love to get that outer barrel off ya. send me a pm?
