I pretty much agree with you. I just got the impression from your earlier post, that you were advocating globbing on the lube, and wanted to clear that up.

If you want a HIGH QUALITY lubricant the best I've found so far is Molybdenum Disulfide. It's expensive shit though. Lubricants with Graphite or White Lithium are good too. Loctite ViperLube is supposed to be good too (the old formulation was even better) but it's hard to find and you can only get it from Industrial Supply stores like Acklands-Grainger (it's expensive as hell especially if you don't have a corporate account).
