lol, connie, we need a good pic of the revolutionary guard giving the right arm salute... unless the ayatullah decided to put an end to that tradition.

We control the Persian gulf, and im serious. If you ever go to Iran go to Bandar-e-Bushehr, there you will have some of the finest caviar and you will also be able to see the iranian Navy docks and ships

That's a weird picture. It must be a captured Iraq tank, because IIRC IRan only operates T-72's and their indigenous tanks now. It's definetly Iranian ERA though.

Iranian T-72

Zolfaqar 3

Anyway, abotu the EAR that's not actually a lot at all.

Top frog at the bottom of a well is still just a frog stuck at the bottom of a well. I personally wouldn't want to run much of a navy inside the Persian Gulf, it's like a really big lake, or a really small barrel of fish for attack aircraft and shore-based AShMs. Besides, I think the Saudi Navy out does the Iranian Navy in quality of equipment hands down.

Why's the pistol that woman is shooting painted like that? It could be mistaken for an airsoft gun and that'd be dangerous.

Check the road wheel spacing on that mystery tank, it's not a T-62. It's actually a Chinese Type 69, a T-55 clone.

I'd say T-55. Space between first and second road wheel is a sure way of IDing it. Plus T-62 turret has a bit of a lower profile. Or it could be a refurbished type 56 chinese version as well, which is a cheaper T-55. The presence of dust skirt would support this second guess, since I think russian ones usually don't sport any. Iraq got a lot of these in the late 80's and lost most on static position to charging coalition armored units. It may not be useful against any western MBT third generation design (like M1A2, Leo II A5, Challenger) but having a couple thousands certainly dissuade troublemakers neighbors.

My two cents.

Thick armor plates...

And yes they do have airsoft in Iran, but its sort of restricted to Law Enforcement/Millitary usage. Though there is a crapload of Model guns that shoot caps which are very very realistic (With orange tips of coarse, but who cares? )
