Being priced that high, I can't honestly see the pricing to be "competitive"... can you? lol. It's going to be quite an uphill climb to get the pricing of this gearbox in line with the expectations of the typical AEG user...

if i would have them change anything, it would be to add a removable back plate where the spring guide is for quick swaping of springs.
if anything else, it would be like the PGC PROWIN split gearbox.

Sounds awsome. Too bad I don't have any V2 guns.

No more V2 anti-reversal latches? JESUS CHRIST YES.

And 4 gears instead of 3? Interesting...

am i the only one who thinks this gearbox looks very similar to the mp5 ptw gearbox? with smaller gears and simpler looking electronics?

oh realy? (looks confused) i thought this was a gearbox they were releasing to replace their drop in gearboxes like the magun set and such... i thought the mp5 ptw had a split mechbox design (like in the pictures on redwolf). i could easily be wrong though?

DAMN that looks nice, at first glance it looks like they might have fixed all the weaknesses in the front of the V2 mechbox as well.
Despite this gearbox's obvious superiority, I have one question: will it work in the rain?

Sorry, you are correct on that.

I was under the impression that the MP5 also used the "Revolution" gearbox, as initial reports indicated that the gearbox wasn't much more than a modified version 2.

i wonder if the mp5 ptw gearbox is more similar to this new revolution gearbox or the old m4 ptw gearboxes, looks more like the new revolution ones but you never can be sure, unless someones actually seen a production model of the mp5 ptw at shot show for example (looks hopeful)

Madmax has seen it. He's just too busy to do a writeup on it and asked me to do it. I'm also too busy to do it. So booooooo... no info online for now. I'm sure initial impressions will be up shortly from other attendees at the show.
