update

So,

I've figured out a way to get my plastic stock to get the look (using the tutorial on this site) and FEEL of real wood... this is going to quicken the process substancially. As much as I'd like to fit the wood stock, I'm going to keep it for a later project.

The conversion itself is coming along quite nicely.

I'm planning to solidify the plastic stock to give more weight. Details when i decide to do it, and commit to it.

I'll post pics somtime next week.

You'll all be stunned when you feel this stock... It's really incredible.

Billy.

Billy, which tutorial are you speaking about?

I should have all my parts by the end of next week. I also bought a wood stock but my plan was to convert it with the plastic stock first and then make the wood stock work later.

seems to me this thread and OAWWIIR have been moving pretty slowly these past 2 weeks. Must be the holidays.

Hey all.
I've been WAY to busy to work on the M1. Finally found a job and now trying to even out the financial balance.

I have all my parts in but because of the holidays I haven't been able to do anything myself. I'll also be posting my conversion on OAWWIIR.

News.

Hello everybody.

Well I have much news.

Firstly, the M1 project has been cancelled. I'm sorry for bailing out on those who were really looking forward to it but the truth is I just don't have to time to invest into it.

Secondly, I'm parting with my WWII kit for now. If I decide to get back into WWII later, I definately will, but unfortunately, rent money and tuition is higher on the list then WWII airsoft. I'll still be playing airsoft, but not with WWII kit.

My WWII kit is on Ebay, I'll provide a link through PM. I'm keeping the helmet cause it's just too damn cool to let go of, but the rest has to go, to much gear worth too much to just lay there right now.

Good news is, I'll still see you kids on the field.
