I have BFV, the songs are nice, but get a little repetitive

When did this place fill up with hippies?

The soldiers listened to two kinds of music. Country and Western.

Seriously though, just rent any Vietnam film. They always have that kind of stuff playing in the beginning when everyone's all psyched to go out and kill some gooks before they actually get out there and get slaughtered instead.
actually most movies depict a slaughter but when it comes to total number of amarican deaths the number is around 58,000 GI's and for NVA around 3,000,000. Not a slaughter at all as far as a amarican goes

Because conscription forced a lot of black people who actually had good taste in music to go over to Vietnam.

You're treading on the thin line of total sense of humor failure.

Watch a current movie, listen to the soundtrack. Is it music you listen to?

In thirty years time someone will be asking you about Boy George, what's your answer going to be?

I just wrote a 4 hour history exam before I posted, so that would explain the sense of humour failure.

I did kind of get my line wrong, I should have send "both kinds of music", not "two kinds of music".

Only that song is not by Jimi, it is a Bob Dylan song.

Just watch "Good Morning Vietnam" and check out the song list in the credits.
