Use BB Bastards their the next best thing from SystemA bb's.
Or go on the PTW websites and check out the reviews of BB's poeple use. One thing i noticed is its hit or missed. Some had zero problems with X brand while other its been non sotp problem. My guess is manufacturer defects. Some batches are crappy while others are great. With BB Bastards i never had a problem I use both Systema PTW original tightbore and the PDI PTW tightbore. |

There is no room for argument BB Bastard 0.28 BB's are the best I have used in my 8 years in the sport. NOTHING COME CLOSE. I have never had a jam or any missfire of any kind. I have used all weights and they ALL work absolutely perfectly...the double polish seems too be the trick.

I used to use TM and G&P BBs. Now I use KSC and Bastards.
When I used to own a bolt action, I used straights, Maruzen and TM Superior grade.

I use to resell a bit of the old batch of bastards at games (3 years ago). I kinda stopped when 20-30% of bags would have a weird plastic bit/BB in it. I've been using Excel BBs or whatever my team has since I got a wicked deal but once that runs out, I'll be back to the new, improved bastards

I've been using excels for a couple yrs now I like them, I also liked my TM's but excels were cheaper. Both were .25. But my gf likes her ksc .2's over excel .20's.

Bastards for me. Both because I am tight with the Head Bastard ( ), but also becasue I now know the science that goes into BB manufacture and what properties make a good BB.
Many of the brands you find out there are "rice bag" BB's. Purchased in bulk from a common manufacturer and repackaged for sale by the vendor. Bastards are not made in a BB factory. They are manufactured by folks that are using cutting edge plastics in high pressure environments. The polish process they go through is for internal piping hydrodynamics. In other words, to make pipe flow as efficent as possible. If you look search around here you will find folks who have done test after test with Bastards and will see Bastards finishing 1st or 2nd every time. Plus BBBastard has Local Bastards retailing all over the place now. It's only a matter of time before a local Bastard opens shop near you, and you can skip the shipping. That's my plug. I don't use anything else. It just takes one more varible (and there are so many with airsoft) out of the equation for me.

I use BBB 0.30g almost exclusively in both GBBs and AEGs. I found MT to be of high quality, but nothing heavier than 0.25g was available back when I was BB shopping. Ultimately, BB Bastard won out - he's local, the product is of high quality and it's available in heavier weights.
What weight BB are you using now? From what I've read and been told in person, BBB's 0.30g supply isn't moving particularly quickly despite lots of initial demand for a heavier weights. |
