I think it was the A&K box that had room to run a large battery in it
As I recall, the CA para had the battery just under the barrel in the front handguard. Still don't know if the torque or speed method is more efficient yet, BUT I know for a fact if you use a ferrite magnet motor, mosfet, and some nice heavy 22-26:1 gears, you should be getting around 7BB/mah. I guess you don't have the option to run a mosfet, without some modification or a better switch, but maybe you can get close anyway. With the way my 249 is set up, I could do a 24hr op off just a 2000mah battery and have plenty of juice to spare. Either way you should be able to either find a 2000mah pack that fits in the front handguard or a box mag that takes a large battery. My old PEQ-15 battery box fit both a 7.4v 1600mah lipo AND a triggermaster, so as long as you can find a larger battery that takes up most of the room in it, you should be able to get 2200-2450mah to fit in it. |

Ah yes, I forgot about running it under the barrel, there is a lot of space where the gas tube and such should sit. Alright, thanks, Thunder. I'm running one of the smaller MAG boxes, so there isn't too much room to spare.
Staying from the thread topic a little, but could you recomend a good place that stocks lipo batteries and chargers? |

Wilkie, I changed my foregrip on my CA Para to an RIS or RAS and can fit a short stick AK battery in (8.4V 1600 mah nimh). So it give you a rough idea the lenght of it. I think I managed to have enough power to shot 4 CA nutsack in a game without changing battery.

It's impressive that you can get even 2 nutsacks out of a 1600mah battery

Beautiful! Can't wait for a review! You guys pick those up in Canada or did you have to import?
Can you fit a standard AR type buffer tube on it? I'm thinking about putting a heavier spring in the saws bipod so it doesn't flop around when it's deployed. Usually I keep it in the forward position on the little front hooks cause I have an AFG on my 249, but it adds even more weight to the front. |

In country, I'm going to be writing up a full review on after I've used it in at least one game.

Right in time for me to have already ordered it! Dammit. Oh well. Have in my hands now, as soon as I can put it down for long enough to gut it I will go over everything and make a real review.
