Good pinch on the M43 cap. A lot of guys forget to do that.

Hey thanks! Spends most reenactments tucked in my belt, which really helps hold the look. Didn't take too long to get it like that, but that cap is 8 years old now.

Man, I could never do that tucked in the belt thing. I spend too much time crawling around, would lose it in no time.

Yeah, I've never had an issue, even when crawling, but in a "pinch" it can be stuffed elsewhere in the gear to stay.

Oh, also, thanks for sharing the photos Keiichione! Any more of your gear?

Besides, as my Waffenbruder and reenacting dad Anders of 5./II./GR 916 in California says: if you want to portray a German officer, you have to emanate that aura of supernatural mystique that makes women want to flick their underwear at your passing car. Even in action, because imagine the horror if you were found dead with a button undone:P

My kit now :

the only things that are not correct are:
Belt,
Canteen Carrier
Ammo pouch
(those are Mk3 with the black metalwear).

Boots (Canadian MK3 cleverly hidden with the legging).

And before you ask, the shit on my face is the left over camstick from the previous night.

Face looks good, better than the over-dose of mud I ended up on mine few events ago;

Had some on my arms, but it just didn't compare.
