Well I guess the world isn't going to end. It was a Full metal Kingarm M4, but I sold it to buy a AKMS. I guess old habits die hard.... I'll be back one of these days.

Finally got around to taking some pics.
Long time AK user trying out the AR-15 platform. I need to cut the "wings" off of the AFG. Also the colours look a lot closer in person between the AFG and rail covers. Planning on getting CTR stocks for both, shorter barrel for the SR-16, and different optics, just not sure on what yet. Hopefully my switch to the AR-15 wasn't a mistake. |

What rail is that? For a moment I thought it was a Troy or VTAC, but on closer look it is not.

This rail is also lighter(and cheaper) than most of the comparable style stuff out there(Noveske NSR, Troy Alpha/VTAC rail, URX3, Geissle Super Modular...etc) Current issue of the Recoil magazine has a comparison on these new skinny rail... |

What a beautiful rail! Do you have any plans for it yet?

It's going on an old school Systema AEG receiver that's been modified to accept real-steel rail systems. It's going to be a VERY ambitious build on the internals that I will be working on for the next month. Stay tuned in the Upgrades/Modifications section.
