Tippmann failed upon doing a market research before releasing it's official and final product, which is clearly not for the appropriate target group of players here in Canada. But hey ! Maybe it'll be the new trend in a couple of years from now running HPA airsoft guns.
Are you saying Tippmann should've came out with an AEG? LOL!
Or perhaps do u think they should've come out with a sealed 12g CO2 mag?

I will be getting one personally for outdoor play and keeping my G&G CM 16 raider for CQC I don't mind the remote line I have run one before and honestly it's not much of a bother really you get used to it after about an hour after 2 you don't even notice it even when changing to off hand for better shots around corners.

If I'd be running a remote line, I would just opt in for a Daytona Gun.

Plus re-using my aeg magazines on my DG = +1 in my books.

This one re-uses AEG magazines also.

What does a DG setup cost; just the base gun and the recoil engine?

I kinda like their mags,i know it's not for everybody but there is no hassle of leaky valves and o-ring.Plus they can still be used with the hpa line as a mid cap.

I just checked it out $475 for just the engine an extra $400 since I don't have a GBBR so for me that's $875

Or $900 for a P*

Or $500 for the Tippmann

Yeah depends what you want, generally they kits range from:
$475-550

Then you need to factor in your gun body you want.

You also have the list to choose from:

- M4
- FN FAL
- SCAR-L
- MP5
- AK
- Galil
- M249
- G36

Hell even P* is making something with "recoil" now too, lol.

Hm... think I may pick one up and run it on an HPA line (that HPA/CO2 nozzle swap is pretty ingenious) . Its pretty much the same price as a decent AEG, minus the hassle of batteries.

Anyone know if they're doing any demo events for it in BC around the Vancouver area?

Love the versatility of it too and its Tippman ... huge history of making guns that last. Bit after switching from paintball a remote is one of the main draw backs in mobility and co2 is inconsistent. Hmmm but still very tempting.

Ugh, four videos later and still nothing on how the hop up works. Wonder why they're not touching on a pretty major function like that.

It takes standard AEG buckings and adjusts with a hex key.
